Before Your Lash Appointment
1. Take a shower because you are not allowed to come into contact with any water/steam for the first 24 hours after you leave in order to assure proper setting time for the adhesive.
2. Remove your contacts because this will be a timely process with your eyes completely shut, therefore we want to avoid any discomfort by keeping your eyes in a natural rested state.
3. Make sure your natural lashes are free of any makeup/residue, and uncrimped from any curler you may have used. We want your lashes clean for proper bonding.
After Your Lash Appointment
1. Do not get them moist/wet for the first 24 hours after your appointment.
2. Be gentle! Do not overbrush, pull, rub, or sleep directly on your eyelash extensions.
3. Keep all oil based products away from the eye area because we do not want the glue to break down, causing your extensions to fall off prematurely. This includes your dirty fingers, keep them off your eyes unless you are cleansing!
4. Do not expose your lashes to extreme temperatures such as saunas, hot yoga, cooking heat, bonfires, etc.
5. Absolutely no eyelash curlers or mascara. Be mindful of the makeup remover you are using! Do not use cotton directly on the eyelash area.
6. Cleanse your lashes regularly to eliminate build up and prolong your extensions. Even if you are not wearing eye makeup, natural oils and dead skin cells will accumulate.
7. Do not attempt to remove them yourself because this can and will cause damage, make an appointment to get them removed properly.
